This suddenly popped out of a device. What does this mean? What should we do?

"mddprov account has removed your workplace account and deleted all of the information associated with your workplace account (including business apps, password requirements, and other policies) from your device."

Have checked the Settings > Accounts and the account is still connected to that same device.

Support ticket currently being worked through with Microsoft - will update this thread if they are able to share any info. on the cause and (hopefully) resolution. Happened for one other user this morning.

Is anyone here finding that this issue also coincides with user account credentials constantly expiring in their office apps? I have users that keep having account errors in their microsoft apps that send them into a constant sign-in loop, or they cannot log in at all. I have already attempted erasing local credentials, caches in appdata, and editing the identity folder for Office in RegEdit. The issue goes away for a few days, but eventually just comes back. This all started happening the same time that these mddprov errors started popping up for our users.

I have a couple devices that are seeing this as well. Microsoft is not saying anything?

    Interesting.

M$ is telling me that it is resolved; however, my users are still getting popups. So, I guess it is now a feature?

Why no explanation of the issue, possible fixes or adjustments?
