Is it possible to have more than one proofing language set in Office products?

Or is there quick way to alternate between them? Or at least quick way to disable proofing for current document I'm working on?

I would like to use different proofing languages for different emails I write and I can't find the easy way to do it.

If you click in the paragraph with the Czech text (don't select anything—just leave the insertion point blinking) and then re-visit the Language dialog box, does it correctly state Czech as the text language?

    This acutally helped. I kinda assumed that little check mark with ABC on it means that both languages are currently selected for proofing. Now I see it is the language in blue frame only. The check mark probably only means that I have these two installed. I didn't understand it correctly, now it seems so obvious. Even found button for Ribbon for it. I will defer from using automatic detection since I rarely use both languages in one text and just switch it like you suggested.

    Yeah, the automatic detection of language has never been perfect. The flaws are best seen in Word, which is why I would never recommend using the feature in that program.

    Here, when I test a new e-mail message in Outlook 2021, the automatic detection is working rather well. It works better after I have pressed Enter to begin a new paragraph, though. As you can tell, no wavy underlines indicating spelling errors are shown...

    I should clarify that if I type a single word in English, surrounded by Swedish text, then the automatic detection may fail. All text will be marked as Swedish and the English word will be flagged as incorrect.

    I use english as default language in my Office products. I just checked that dialog language box and it was already set as in your example. Yet as you can see in picture below czech is underlined there as wrong but I can assure you it is not ;) Only words that are spelled same way as some english words a not underlined.
