PowerPoint Slide goes black while in presenter view when casting from android phone or tablet to projector

While using a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G or my Samsung A8 Plus tablet and using presentation view, the screen will go black while casting to my projector XGIMI Elfin Mini. This only happens in presentation view. If I don't use presentation view then I can cast the PowerPoint but I cannot see my notes. I connected my projector directly to my laptop via hdmi and I had no problem in presenter view to see my notes and the full presentation from the projector.

There is something wrong with presenter view when casting only.

    Hi Microsoft team,

    I having the same issue as well. I am using a samsung galaxy tab s7. I tried using both powerpoint app and office. 365. While on presenter view, the screen turns black when going to succeeding slides (after or 2 or 3 slides). I can turn the screen back on when I tap my s pen on the slide but the problem keeps persisting when go on the next slides. I hope this issue gets resolved. Thanks

    Thanks for the reply but this doesn't help. I really trying to find anything useful for this topic I was even looking for alternative device to be able to do my job effectively. Instead I did find out that this issue is know since January 2022 and no single report of any progress to fix this issue. Checked with Samsung there seems to be no cooperation between this two engineering teams. So i think there is no hope to have this fixed any soon. It doesnt even work on Android tablets. SO for people like me to have flexible work tool in my pocket is google slides - unfortunately their functionality is limited - most important is they can present the ppt and they are free - but forgot about animated presentations - better not animated than non at all
