PowerPoint Slide goes black while in presenter view when casting from android phone or tablet to projector

Indeed. Why have they not bothered to fix it? I would conjecture that it is a fault that no one want's to admit, or that it would take money they they don't want to spend (not that any of these companies lack for funds), or perhaps there is proprietary tech that would need to be co-operated on and these large corporations not keen on sharing info.

Regardless of the reason, the customer suffers.

While using a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G or my Samsung A8 Plus tablet and using presentation view, the screen will go black while casting to my projector XGIMI Elfin Mini. This only happens in presentation view. If I don't use presentation view then I can cast the PowerPoint but I cannot see my notes. I connected my projector directly to my laptop via hdmi and I had no problem in presenter view to see my notes and the full presentation from the projector.

There is something wrong with presenter view when casting only.

2024 already and still no solution. I don't know if this is Samsung or MS Office fault but why have they not bothered fixing it until now?

It is obvious that this is a widespread issue. I can, if futilely, add my case to the numerous cases that seem to have been only increasing --- in complaint if not in number; seeing that it appears to be community wide.

PowerPoint inexplicably goes blank/black while utilizing the presenter mode while casting from my android phone or tablet to a portable projector. I use a Samsung A8 Plus tablet and a Motorola 5G android phone ... neither will successfully maintain a picture in presenter mode. And, it is limited as others have stated to the presenter mode. Casting otherwise does not result in blank/black pages showing up often and randomly.

I add my name to the growing list of complaints ... from what I can observe it has been, at a minimum, 7 months since someone alerted MS to the issue — still no solution?

Is it time to search out another means for presenting slide shows other than PowerPoint? I'd hate to have to do that, but this issue drastically limits my ability to make coherent presentations.

We, us users, dare I speak for others, would love to hear some good news. Any progress?

Ihave the same feeling here. it is frustrating. I have powerfull pc in the pocket and I have to take laptop wioth mee even for short trainings becouse they are not able to fix easy issue
