I can't remove the old (expired) credit card.

And I can't add a new credit card.

It keeps saying the same error message

"Check the info you entered. It doesn't match the info for this card."

Despite all info entered being accurate.

You didn't ask this question of Microsoft. This is a COMMUNITY within Microsoft for people to ask questions or to find answers to questions they may have wondered about. So, you asked it to the group who has been discussing the issues with payment of Microsoft account, because some are having difficulties with finding out what to do with payment, such as when their payment arrangements needs to be changed. So, S.R. asked for help and I did give this person instructions on what to do, and they were able to make the needed changes. The original person who began this topic in this Community wasn't you. It was Michelle de la Merced. If you don't want to be notified any longer, it's easy to stop getting these notifications. Simply scroll down and UNCHECK the box that says "Notify me when someone responds to this post."

Would you please check my Microsoft account and it shows the correct credit card on your files?

I have received 4 emails from Dr. Shaw and 3 emails from Linda Washburn asking me for help in

adding my credit card on my Microsoft account.

This has been completed since January 10, 2024 and my payment was applied correctly to the

    credit card on file.

Please stop sending me emails regarding this issue and 7 emails received today (November 11, 2024)

is ridiculous. I am tired of seeing these emails so please take the time to correct your files and it will

    be much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Irene Schneweis

Got it and made the change. Thanks for your help. But I want to say that more detail upfront the better, okay? Thanks again.

On the Account Page scroll down to Payment Options and click on it. This will show your payment credit card or cards, whether Visa, Amex, Discover, etc. Click on the card you wish to remove. Choose remove card or edit card.
