Hello

Just recently, I have been getting this error on some on my OneNote notebooks and while I can force a sync, the process takes an exceedingly long time and does resolve itself only to reappear later in the day.

I have tried to copy sections into a new notebook only to have the problem reoccur.

OneNote can't connect to the network. We'll try to sync your notes when the network is available. (Error code: 0xE000006B b6d09)

I can open the notebook via the web app but the sections that do not synchronize show an error.

I am sure that the network is not the issue.

    Hello Waqas

    I am on the latest insider build and the problem persists, but it impacts different notebooks at various times. I hope the OneNote development team is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it.

    Regarding reinstalling the semi-annual version, which would be a lot more trouble than it is so I will stick with the insider version for now.

    It seems the problem occur in insider version. Yes, I think Microsoft will fix into next update of Office version. Meanwhile, you may also provide feedback to related Excel development team via Microsoft Excel feedback portal, so that they can get notice about it, and we are sure it will speed up this process.

    Hi Waqas,

    I am wondering if you have any other advice on how to resolve this issue? I am hoping something may have been figured out in the last 3 months as I am having the same problem. It impacts one of my notebooks at the moment and all suggested methods have not resolved.

    Would be greatly appreciated if you could share any thoughts.

    The problem resolved itself around the end of February. I really think it was a OneNote backend problem because I did nothing on my side. Since then, my work computer was upgraded (in place) to Windows 11 and I am running Office insider build 2305 16421.2000000 with no issues.
