Recently updated to new iOS and Microsoft family app keeps crashing. Have restart phone multiple times and uninstall and reinstalled app several times. Before the iOS update, app was giving errors on the notification page. Had to keep hitting refresh button and it would finally connect to Microsoft.

Hey everyone, good news! An update is now available which resolves this issue, with the new app version implementing the fix being 1.24.3. Please update to the newest version and see if the issue is resolved.

Based on some user experience, if you do not get the update offered you may have to uninstall the app first, then reinstall to get the new version.

I did the same, you won't get anywhere, and if you do you are a magician!

I tried to escalate this issue through Microsoft directly since I pay for O365 which I consider "family safety" to be part of. Needless to say I got nowhere and after two support people who just wanted me to factory reset my phone I was pointed at this blog post as "resolution". sigh.

Needless to say, as usual my view of all things MS is in the toilet, as usual.

I am currently in a chat with a Microsoft support person and hopefully we can get this problem resolved. I also gave them the link to this discussion. Hopefully this will help them fix it. *Update* Well it did not help at all. Turns out I am not a magician after all! I did write a response about the issue when I asked to review the help I was given. I also added the link to this discussion. Hopefully this gets fixed somehow.

I too am having the same issue, I have tried all of the previous tricks done but the others on this thread. I have even tried this on a older factory reset iphone and the issue still exists.

Does anyone know who to send the crash report from the iphone to so they can believe us and fix this issue ?
