Family Safety - Not able to see location of family members anymore just get the message "We couldn't find their location"

Hi,

Over the past week, none of us using the family safety app in the family are able to see the location details of other family members. The settings are all fine and everyone is still sharing their location all the time. Any idea how we can resolve the issue.

    In my opinion Microsoft still has the obbligation to support the physical security features until November 29, 2024.

    Besides that I have my doubts how they observed it. If a feature, in this case Family Safety shared location, is not working properly and people move to other services where similar features do work, it is easy for Microsoft to say that their physical security feature is not used by (so many) subscribers.

    So effectively their confirming that their customers can forget about having a functional Family Safety shared location feature until November 29, 2024. After which it will be permanantly turned off.

    Today I got email from Microsoft stating "We have observed that our subscribers primarily use digital security features more than physical security features. Therefore, we have decided to remove physical security features starting November 29, 2024".

    So effectively confirming shared location functionality is not supported anymore.
