Overwhelmed by onmicrosoft.com SPAM EMAILS

I have blocked 'onmicrosoft.com' and '.onmicrosoft.com' both. Still getting the **** emails. Microsoft should be sued for allowing this to occur. I use OWA and rules don't work for this, I believe they deliberately programmed around it. I'll bet they are selling 'onmicrosoft.com' just to make money, and for these purposes it should be outlawed. Just think of all the time we are wasting cleaning up Microsoft's mess. Unconscionable!

So, I am also having the same issue. I have had my hotmail address for years. And then, a few weeks ago, all of a sudden, I started getting bombarded with these spam emails in my inbox INSTEAD of my junk folder. I have it set to where ONLY emails from my contacts are supposed to go in my inbox. So, I started reporting them as Spam. But they keep coming. And I can't find the place to create rules to use that to stop them either. I am using my smart phone & can't figure out how to do it on the mobile site. Like I said, it has only been going on for a few weeks. And I feel like Microsoft is selling our email address info now. I am extremely frustrated, especially since my email app only allows 500 spam addresses. What do I need to do to stop this?

I started getting about 5 emails a day. I'm up to about 20. All being collected in SPAM, but still annoying.

I have a hotmail address that I don't have much problem with. The "*** .onmicrosoft.com" spam emails that I have been getting are all coming into the address I have with our local cooperative. I have put the onmicrosoft.com domain name on my "black list" but it doesn't seem to work. most of the addresses are *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. I've tried both of the following formats to add it to my blacklist, but the stuff still keeps coming through to my spam folder: *@.onmicrosoft.com. *@*.onmicrosoft.com

10+ per day and increasing all the time. This account uses the * to designate what comes before the @ but with the gibberish being able to be added into the domain name seems to complicate it?

It would be great if Microsoft would somehow put an end to it from their end! I know it must be a challenge to keep ahead of, but it's all just getting so out of hand.

I've reported all these i get to abuse @ outlook and abuse @ microsoft. I guess i'll add cdoccm @ microsoft too now.

But yeah, the best way is to just block anything from onmicrosoft.com. Unfortunately, some email clients, web or standalone, don't always have the option to filter based on whats in the header or to block entire domain. they usually only let you do it by account, which as we've seen, the spammers just randomize the user, e.g. Wilkins0214, which is an example from a phishing email sent today.

Those abuse address get the full header but no one seems to look into them, makes you wonder why, since most MS 'support' is located in a particular place it goes to figure most of these spammers are from the same place I'd bet on a percentage scale.
