Overwhelmed by onmicrosoft.com SPAM EMAILS

I hear you! No, Microsoft has been obviously absent from these conversations. I suspect either they NEVER read them, or DO read them and don't like the implications that they are deliberately allowing bogus spammers to use ONMICROSOFT.COM. If they cared about their reputation or customer satisfaction they would police their domain.

I've taken your advice @Tigermann and sent an e-mail to c d o c c m @ m i c r o s o f t . c o m.

It contained a screenshot of the latest phishing example plus the internet headers details.

I also added a list of all the '.onmicrosoft.com' domains from which I've received similar phishing e-mails.

I've noticed that of the 94 domain names, nearly all appear to be company names! (For example,

'MercadoBentonTrading.onmicrosoft.com'.) I did a little research and they may well be names used by legitimate users but have somehow been hijacked by hackers.

They appear to be what Microsoft term 'fallback domains' for Office 365 small business users. At any rate, it would appear that these socalled 'fallback domains' are vulnerable to hacking! You'd think Microsoft would be able to seal this breach!

Yes, I know better than to unsubscribe, that only alerts them to a live victim and sells my email address to others. I have already tried blocking domains, and rules work for many, but strangely enough does not work for ONMICROSOFT. THAT is my complaint. I suspect Microsoft prevents rules from working on their precious domain money-maker. They sell that to spammers giving them an air of legitimacy - at the expense of the patience of their real clients. If what I suspect is true, they should be ashamed of trying to make money like this.

Does anyone else feel this is unethical too?

Somehow Yahoo/ATT send these DAM craps to my Spam files. They do not go to my inbox. But I follow PHISHING trends and these are Phishing.

I have just started getting onmicrosoft email spam , the spammers have used every email system available in the world to spam my inbox. NEVER EVER click on the remove me. I have been blocking in Spectrum roadrunner email and reporting to cdoccm@microsoft.com. You must copy paste the header and forward to cdoccm@microsoft.com. It got so bad I had to block keywords and it took almost 2 years to get them to stop. Reporting and forwarding the email complete header to that address gives microsoft all they need to shut down the spammer if the are using any microsoft product to create the spam They have to take charge/action because that is not what the agreement is to use any microsoft product . I have it set up now to were any key words anywhere in message goes straight to cdoccm@microsoft.com without even entering my inbox. I get maybe 3 a week now and just started seeing what onmicrosoft was about and found this forum Good Luck and hope this helps!
