Overwhelmed by onmicrosoft.com SPAM EMAILS

How do I block onmicrosoft.com SPAM EMAILS? I am getting relentlessly spammed and cannot seem to block these emails. This is a serious problem because about every third or forth email is this onmicrosoft.com SPAM EMAIL. I like office 365 but this is ridiculous!!!

    Heh. I have a mail.com account too...have yet to see spam in it.

    Yeh, that one along with using Thunderbird email client keeps spam at a teeny level.

    Those two are ABSOLUTELY FREE, while Microsoft.... is a big waste.

    Too bad GoDaddy got idiotic by having its email service ruined by changing to the 'better and more effective' Microsoft email delivery system.

    Sorry to hear that Jason. I can only offer one suggestion that seems to have reduced the number of e-mails I receive. (Refer to my post from November 18.) I'm receiving these e-mails on my bigpond.com address and have had to use their web-based e-mail client to block the sending domains. (Although you can use Outlook to block these, the blocking specification doesn't get saved on the bigpond.com server so the e-mail doesn't get blocked at the server.) The bigpond.com server only allows the blocking of senders from a particular domain using the syntax *@<domain_name>. Sadly, you can't specify something like *@*.onmicrosoft.com. So, as tedious as it sounds, I can only suggest you try a similar thing on your e-mail provider's server. That is, try, for example, *@xyz.onmicrosoft.com, for the 'xyz' subdomain.

    Over the past three weeks I've suddenly started received spam from several subdomains in the onmicrosoft.com domain. Abuse reports don't seem to do anything since some of the reported subdomains are still actively sending spam.

    I don't think I've ever seen a legitimate email from an onmicrosoft.com subdomain.

    Fortunately I use Postfix so the following line in header_checks will reject all of them:

    /^From:\s.*<*@*.onmicrosoft.com>/ REJECT No spam accepted

    OK, Microsoft, no more excuses. Do something about the 'onmicrosoft.com' emails. I've tried blocking them in OWA using rules, but the rules are being ignored, I think because you intentionally block rules to stop 'onmicrosoft.com' spam. I got 27 of them today alone. This does nothing to help your reputation. Be kind to your clients and potential clients and stop the spam using your name to appear legitimate.

    Enough already!!!!

    Whoops, it's about 7-10 days later, and I just got a batch of 6 from .onmicrosoft.com again. Is there no way to slay the Kracken?
