Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

    I had the same issue. Seems MS has fixed it. Update from theVerge.com

    I have the same problem. Junk mail started showing up in my inbox. Just started today, February 20, 2023. I didn't change any settings on my account. I haven't seen any legitimate answers to the issue (just MS Techs saying to add rules and filters, which is unhelpful). Something fundamental to Outlook happened. I don't know if it is systemic, but it sure isn't anything I did.

    The spam filters were broken. That is all they choose to say.
