Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Seam like Microsoft finally fixed it. I had the same issue about a month ago. Seems like a glitch in the system. Hopefully no more glitches in the near future!
Same thing happened to me. It’s started today and I have had my hotmail for around 20 years.
So many things can go wrong in this environment.....everyone saying they've had hotmail for decades and now this??? That's a long time of "no issues," wouldn't you agree? Well, I for one am grateful that the issue seems resolved, at least in my case, and wish to extend some gratitude to the folks at Microsoft who no doubt took this very seriously and were able to fix it in hours. Hats off to you guys and gals at MS, thank you very kindly!

My last junk email went to the junk email folder. That was 12:57 P.M. here in Alabama. It's currently 3:26 P.M. here in Alabama. The problem seems to be fixed, at least for me. Maybe Microsoft has people reading these threads and they read all our frustrated and angry posts and got to working on it. They may be fixing it by region, like U.S., Canada, Australia. Or they may be fixing it by time zone. I'm in Alabama which is in the central time zone.
I am having the same issue, suddenly getting 15-20 junk emails a day. I've had my acct for over 15 years as well and haven't changed any settings. I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one, but still pretty mad that this is happening.
I've been blocking them as they come in, but also went on DMAChoice.com and signed up to opt-out of marketing email. Although, they say it doesn't stop 100% of these emails, only those that use e-MPS, and it will take 2 months for the marketing emails to decrease in my inbox. There has to be a better solution!!! :(
