Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

I'm having the same issue. In the last hour I've had at least a dozen junk emails to come straight to my inbox. I thought Outlook was supposed to have a filter to keep the junk emails out of the inbox. Apparently that filter isn't working. Outlook needs an update to fix this and SOON. The SOONER the BETTER.

For those "experts" trying to teach us how to set up a spam filter, SAVE IT!!!!! This is an unusual problem which has never happened before!! Moreover, right now, the filtering option that would allow Outlook to accept ONLY emails from my contacts is GONE!!!! Shame on you, Microsoft!!!!

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

I have the subscription and it makes ZERO difference.

I am having the same issue. I am in tears trying to find a solution. I haven't changed anything and their "support" sucks! It is non-existent. I have gone through and blocked alot of it, but it doesn't do any good. They must have a major breech. I have had this account for 20+ years!!
