Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

I'm in England and I've got the same problem. As far as I can see, no settings have been changed, so what's going on?
Yes- has been happening for quite some time for me junk emails trickling in my hotmail inbox(even blocked addresses!). Today all of a sudden got flooded with junk as if the gates have opened. I am sure all my settings are correct- this is definitely a Microsoft issue.
Well I'm glad this isn't just me it's happening to and seems to be a system-wide problem with hotmail/outlook.
I don't really have anything new or helpful to add to the plethora of complaints thus far. I didn't change anything. I have had this email over 20 years, and as of the morning of February 20th, 2023 all of my emails that would normally go to my junk folder appear in my inbox. There doesn't seem to be anything I can do to fix or prevent this. I've looked into "rules" and settings and changed my password, all to no avail.
Can't seem to get in touch with any customer service either, but hopefully those who've said they were told the problem would be fixed soon are right.
US user here. Have had the same email since late 90s, same settings and junkmail settings since at least beginning of 2000s. Nothing changed. Same issue, woke up to dozens of messages that normally go to junkmail landing in my inbox. I'm having to mute settings on my phone because I'm getting stuff in constantly and my phone wont stop chirping.
The heck did you mess up, Microsoft?!
I'm experiencing the same issue. I've had my account since the 90s and would love to keep it, but it's intolerable.
