Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Many thanks

I am experiencing the same problem. Previously you could adjust the level of protection in the Junk Mail filter as outlined in this support article,

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/change-the-level-of-protection-in-the-junk-email-filter-e89c12d8-9d61-4320-8c57-d982c8d52f6b

As far as I can determine these controls no longer exist. Hope someone turns the Junk Mail filter system back on soon.

It won’t help. It’s not the app. It’s the filtering algorithm on the back end. I have the same issue across devices and platforms.
