Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Many thanks

This must be a system problem. Microsoft should be on this because it's affecting everyone it seems!

It's not junk. It's being sent from microsoft support, not a workaround address. The email is defo a phishing scheme, but it appears as if Microsoft's support email may have been compromised, which also may explain the junk mail filter bypass.

Same issue here just happened overnight. Haven't touched the safe-list settings in years

Do not click on any of those warning messages about people accessing your account in Russia, etc. BTW. They are spam.

Add me to the list of people having all spam bypass the spam filter. Began sometime in the early hours of 20FEB2023. I have also gotten the phishing email directly from Microsoft account support claiming that my account has been logged into by someone in Moscow/Russia. I know this can't be possible because my account activity doesn't reflect this, and I have MFA without a password. I did not follow any links from the email.

Same thing is happening to me. this must be a system-wide breakdown or hack.
