Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

    In the past 10 days, it has suddenly gone totally out of control.

    I have received over 700 spam emails today in my inbox - not in my Junk folder.

    Most are duplicates or triplicates of each other, which come in a minute apart.

    This is very hard to deal with, since legitimate emails are hidden in the middle of this massive mess, and I need to root them out.

    They must know that something of this magnitude has broken their system??

    I had this problem in April. I saw an announcement that there was something wrong on the Outlook end of things.

    Today, I just stared having the same problem AGAIN. So annoying! And there seems to be NO where to get help. I've found directions saying to click the ? in Outlook. There's no ?

    I'm getting new emails in my inbox every 5 minutes. I'm so frustrated. What's the point of having the highest level of junk filtering, only to get every single email delivered to my inbox.

    If you find a solution, I'd LOVE to hear it. Thanks!

    This is still a huge problem for me on May 2, 2023. Something definitely changed because this used to be the one inbox I could count on to be fairly clean. Now, a majority of the messages I get every day are junk/spam.

    The problem for me has been corrected for the most part. I still get a spammer on occasion but most of it goes to junk. Only 2or 3 get through a day.
