Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

My phone woke me up this morning with notifications of junk email after junk email flooding my inbox. Just like everyone else, I have not changed any settings. This has to be an MS issue.
I just got the "unusual sign in activity" message from microsoft in my inbox instead of in Junk folder. Still getting all junk into my inbox. Anyone able to find out what's going on?
I have this issue from today too.
Have just changed my password and logged out/back in again, but emails coming directly into the inbox.
I'm glad I'm not alone...
Was getting annoying amounts of spam as it was.... Don't want to see it right there in front of me as well!
I have exactly the same problem -- all my junk mail is suddenly going to my inbox. No reliable mail is going to my inbox. I live in North Florida and last night my iPhone would chime every time I got a junk email on my screen. I just tried to call Microsoft support (800-642-7676) only to be directed to help.microsoft.com website. Microsoft needs to correct this problem IMMEDIATELY!!! It's aggravating!!! No live person answers the call and there is no "real" information as to how they are fixing this problem. :(
No fix yet. One person said tech support is aware of system-wide issue and hope to have resolved in 24 hours! For me it is affecting all my devices, iPad, iPhone and Mac Air. Royal pain. Getting hundreds of junk mails in my inbox, actually way more than usual that wnt directly to junk. No idea what changed on Microsoft’s part and changing email service is not an easy solution either. Whole thing is unacceptable!
