Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?
Many thanks

Me too osx home computer and android phone. Just started this am 2/20/23 no new purchases or subscriptions. Literally 50 junk mails in the inbox. Before today maybe 2 per week got through tops. I see many others are also having the issue at the same time. Outlook is saying it's me but I have all the controls, vpn etc. and like I said haven't entered my email on any new sites for months.
It's true. It has been months for me with it gradually becoming worse every day.
I have the exact same issue too with my hotmail account. All of a sudden my inbox is flooded with junk mail which would automatically go into junk mail ordinarily. Come on MS do something about this!
I got a phising email saying someone tried to log into my account from Russia. I checked the source code of the email and it was from a fake microsoft official email, just some random hotmail account. So be careful everyone.
