Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

I'm having the same problem: it started a couple of months ago. I've had this account for yen years and never had this problem.
Can't find any solution for now. It's quite annoying
I thought the problem was fixed for me but it seems to be coming back one junk email at a time. In the last hour I've had 2 junk emails come to my inbox. One was a fake CVS email and just now one that showed its sender as Crate&Barrel_Confirmation. When I hover my cursor on the sender name the email address shows as 2 letters followed by 7 numbers. It was a Gmail address. I better not get anymore junk emails in the inbox today or this will not be my last post.
Hi there, thank you for your reply. Ive tried contacting Microsoft but for hotmail 365 they only give me in app help which is not helpful. I havent changed any filter settings, ibe had my acct for a long time and everything remains the same.
Like you, Caroline, I've had my hotmail account for decades, and used Outlook. This is definitely a system problem. It was a sudden problem that occurred, in late December or early January. without any changes from me. I have to check my junk file everyday. All my important communications, family, financial, and medical are going to junk! This is not acceptable. I can see that 644 people have marked your post that they are having the same issue. Microsoft should be paying attention and just fix it.

The spam is really bad at the moment, the inbox almost unusable.
