Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Many thanks

I am having the same exact problem. Started this morning 2/20/23. 100 emails that would normally be junk are in my inbox. If you find out what the problem is please let me know!

I’ve got the same problem, though I just received a message from Microsoft that said my account has been accessed by someone in Russia. Who knows what’s really going on.

Was the email addressed personally to you?

I get 2-3 per day all claiming to be from Microsoft and identifying the source as Moscow.

On a PC, if you hover over the hyperlink "Report THE USER" you'll see the linked send to address at the bottom left corner of the screen. It's always some bogus email, typically a gmail account.

Sometimes you can click on FORWARD and on the next screen SHOW ENTIRE MESSAGE and it may reveal the true phony address.

Everything looks like Microsoft, but isn't .

    Here's the fake.......

I've had my @msn email 21 years as of the end next month. I'm about ready to use language I don't normally use. Like dropping a few f-bombs.

Nearly 30 years of loyalty is in jeapardy on this end. It doesn't help that the founder has been losing his mind lately.

Same thing here. Had my hotmail account for 20+ years and for many years the only emails allowed into my Inbox were from my contacts and trusted senders. Worked perfectly until this morning. Now almost all emails, trusted or not, arrive in my Inbox. Please fix!
