Junk Emails Suddenly going to Inbox Feb 2023

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.

Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?

Many thanks

I'm having the same issue, logged in this morning and all junk mail is going to inbox, so MS has screwed up somehow, maybe they released an update? I checked updates and the last update was 5-6 days ago. What OS does everyone have? Mine is Win7 and yes, I know there is no more support for it.

My wife has win10 and has the same issue, so it seems it may be across the board.

I've gone into Settings and disabled Focused/Other and it seems the spam is going back to Junk folder.

I have the identical issue, last night suddenly receiving all of what appears to be junk mail in my inbox. HELP is ineffective because it presumes the owner of the account has somehow caused the problem and needs to take corrective action. It's Microsoft that's causing the issue and needs to clear it up. BUT you don't hear anything from the Microsoft Team regarding this issue that seems to occur periodically throughtout any given calendar. For me, its happened most frequently in 2022. Maybe Time to switch to another Email Service.

I have the same annoying issue! I did nothing to create this change and cannot find a way to fix this. I called Microsoft support and they will only route to online assistance. I can't even get to a person. Has Microsoft identified this issue????

This is what Tech Support replied: "I understand you better Sagar, I will like you to know that this Issue is a Known Issue and our engineers are working to fix it February 20, 2023, 9:34 am"
