I'm in England and I've got the same problem. As far as I can see, no settings have been changed, so what's going on?

Hi, I had my hotmail account for over 20 years and I never had an issue like this. As of this morning at 4am ALL of my junk emails are going to my inbox. No settings have been amended.
Since I've had this account for many years every 5 minutes I receive a junk in my inbox. Ive searched for a solution online but all I can see is for outlook and not outlook/hotmail 365. I've tried everything at this point, from rules to flagging wit no help. Has anyone experienced the same? Microsoft doesnt seem to have a customer service team to help?
Many thanks

Same issue here. Woke up with 70+ junk emails in my inbox! Nothing changed on my end; I have not adjusted any settings. Getting about one piece of junk mail into my inbox a minute at this point. It's crazy! FIX IT, MICROSOFT!
Same here, since this morning all e-mails go to the inbox unfiltered.
The instructions on their help menu are outdated.
The only way to set it to what used to be the "exclusive" filter is in settings under "junk mail/Filters (at the bottom) "Only trust email from addresses in my Safe senders and domains list and Safe mailing lists"
I have it checked on and it just doesn't work. This is apparently a glitch at Microsoft (hotmail, live mail etc.)
It seems like a huge number of people from all around the world are experiencing this issue. I hope this is not an intentional change from Microsoft.
I am experiencing the same problem. Previously you could adjust the level of protection in the Junk Mail filter as outlined in this support article,
As far as I can determine these controls no longer exist. Hope someone turns the Junk Mail filter system back on soon.
