This is not a network issue! Please I beg do not say is it a network issue lol

One drive working fine on pcs in house on windows 10

On this pc windows 11, it was signed in and working fine. Then this morning its not signed in. I unlinked then on sign in it says no network connection check internet settings.

I have set ethernet to DHCP incase this was the issue.

I have uninstalled onedrive and reinstalled

I have restarted multiple times

This is a new install of windows 11 less than a week old. today there was un update 22621.1194

However I installed that update after finding onedrive is playing up.

I rebooted my router.

I am out of ideas. but I really, really need onedrive to work.

Edited to add I have turned on all TLS in internet settings. No dice.

Try this

Click start, type Run and click on the run box

Paste this in: RunDll32.exe InetCpl.cpl,ResetIEtoDefaults

Click the Reset button and reboot

Seem to have worked for a number of people here: NetExtender seems to break connection to Office 365 : sonicwall (reddit.com)

Hi respected GarethIrwin1,

Thanks for your valuable feedback and sharing updates with us and I really appreciate your effort and your precious time doing.

And I appreciate your kind words.

It seems that New Windows Profile can resolve the issue.

However, in your old user profile try to reset Internet Explorer setting, then rebooting the user's machine.

  1. Go to control panel.
  2. Then select Network and Internet>select internet Options.
  3. Select advanced options.
  4. Restore Advanced Settings.
  5. Reboot to check.

If above still doesn't affect, then I think it's corruption in the profile (probably something in the registry.) upon making another account on your computer it's OK.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

Sincerely,

Waqas Muhammad

    I have been dealing with this issue for a long time and I finally was able to spend the time necessary to solve it in my case.

    The problem, in my case, was with the HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections registry key.

    Below are the working and non-working registry keys. You should be able to simply delete the key and reboot and the key values will be recreated with working ones.

    If you import the working values, no reboot is required.

    Working

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections]

    "SavedLegacySettings"=hex:46,00,00,00,02,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

    "DefaultConnectionSettings"=hex:46,00,00,00,02,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

    Not working

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Connections]

    "SavedLegacySettings"=hex:46,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00

    "DefaultConnectionSettings"=hex:46,00,00,00,04,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,\

    I have seen this issue a dozen times or more within our organization. Typically, it's on Monday mornings after a user has brought their laptop back into the office after having it at home over the weekend.

    -TEAMS throws that caa70004 error.

    -One Drive throws the 2603 error about network settings.

    -Outlook cannot connect to M365 servers.

    You try all the normal things, clearing TEAMS cache, even reinstalling M365 apps. Nothing works.

    While I haven't tried LOREN'S registry solution from May 24, 2023 yet, this is what has fixed it for me:

    We use Sonicwall NetExtender VPN. I have the user get off of our network, and then get on their hotspot or another network and connect to the VPN. Once connected via the VPN, all of the above apps connect and work properly!

    I then have the user disconnect the VPN and get back on our network, and run the apps again.. They all work fine.

    I dont know WHY connecting and disconnecting the VPN fixes the issue, but it does. Possibly similar to Loren's registry entries, it "resets" or updates the network settings somehow. IDK.
