Hi,

since a few days I have issues with Excel 365. Above the grid it mentions "COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES We need to fix your account. Select Microsoft Excel from the top menu > Sign Out. Then Sign back in with an account associated with a subscription." I have followed the instructions by signing out and then in again however it didn't resolve the issue and it repeats. I have been using Office 365 for many years and just recently the problem started. Now I can't refresh the data. I have checked my subscription and there seems nothing wrong with it and is all updated. Kindly assist me with this issue.

    Hi

You have discovered what many others have. There is a problem with Data Types right now.

Everyone affected should let Microsoft know about this. The way to do it is to use the Menu Bar and choose Help > Feedback > I Don't Like Something.

Microsoft uses the squeaky wheel method of prioritizing bugs. The louder the squeak, the sooner it will get oiled.

    Hi

Some users have reported this issue has been fixed, but apparently not for everyone. Please be sure you have either version 16.67 or 16.68 installed. To check your version, use the Menu Bar and choose Excel > About Excel.

If you have the current update (either 16.67 or 16.68) and you are still encountering this problem, follow the advice in this link to revert to 16.64

    Data Types are not working.

Same problem here, intermittently yesterday (seemed to fix itself in the evening) but back this morning. Logged my complaint through the feedback tool.

Same here - reported the problem. The strange thing for me is that I have 3 MAC's (1 at office, 1 at home, and one portable). The problem started 1-2 months ago at the office. And today at home. But my portable still works fine. The same subscription for all of them.
