Office blank white screen

When I open the Office app, only a white blank screen is displayed. This occurs on my laptop, and suddenly started showing the white screen on my PC as well. I'm running Windows 11 on my laptop and Windows 10 on my PC. I tried repairing it, then resetting Office, but that did not help. All of the apps work as expected like Word and Excel, only the Office app is exhibiting this behavior.

It's interesting (and concerning) seeing how this is affecting different people, But does Microsoft itself actually interact with this forum? Is someone from Microsoft able to assure us that:

    (a) they recognise the problem

    (b) they have started working on fixing it

    and

    (c) their progress with fixing it?

Otherwise, it feels like a room full of blindfolded people **** to try and find the door. As yet, the door hasn't been found.

Honestly glad I found this thread. This happened to me on the same day as everyone else - and it is driving me mad. I can open most apps directly but not things like to do list etc. Hopefully, given this is clearly a general issue they will patch it soon!

    Hi,

    Good Day!
I dont know if I was just lucky or not but I am also experiencing the same problem as mentioned above but was able to solve it by updating my computer drivers. Currently I am using Dell product and was able to use Dell Command Update application to update my driver. Why don't you guys give it a try.

I'm having the same issues!!! It started on the 4th, and I haven't been able to open office. I got advice from someone in IT to repair office (neither options worked) and then to uninstall, restart, install, restart. That also did not work :( and now I have access to none of the apps.

I can still use everything through the web browser but it's super annoying...

There aren't any updates either but I'm glad to see it's not just me having this issue. I hope they fix it soon because I use this for uni D:

My Office desktop went blank this morning - interestingly after Windows Update "2022-08 Cumulative Update Preview for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 11 for x64 (KB5016594)" was applied. Maybe that's broken it? Is there an equivalent of Dell Update for Microsoft Surface Pros? I thought firmware upgrades were handled via WIndows Update but could be wrong.
