When I open the Office app, only a white blank screen is displayed. This occurs on my laptop, and suddenly started showing the white screen on my PC as well. I'm running Windows 11 on my laptop and Windows 10 on my PC. I tried repairing it, then resetting Office, but that did not help. All of the apps work as expected like Word and Excel, only the Office app is exhibiting this behavior.

Correct but, it's one less shortcut to put on screen or taskbar.
When I select the Office app I can get to Word and Excel for free. When I try to open them individually it's telling me that I don't have an account and is requiring me to buy it. Why is this happening?

If you don't have a subscription, you can access the free versions of Excel, Word and PowerPoint via https://onedrive.live.com.
Office still works. The individual programs open and you can begin any document you need. And you can still full access all the apps through OneDrive.
I am in graduate school and that white screen has no effect on completing my assignments. Just be logical and use the individual apps.
