Processes in Microsoft 365 for setting up Office apps, redeeming product keys, and activating licenses.
I have had this same issue for a few days now. I tried to uninstall and re-start twice. I also attempted the repair options. In all scenarios, I re-started the computer but it still kept coming back with a blank white screen. I'm using Windows 11. As others have mentioned on here, I am able to go to previously saved documents, open one of those and then create a new document as a work-around. This also seems to be the case in apps I don't use as much like Access and Publisher.
Still, it is very frustrating that we pay a lot of money for Microsoft software products and then they are frequently "broken". Microsoft doesn't seem to have any problem finding new ways to bill its consumers, but I highly doubt they will take the courteous, professional, and positive customer service route by offering a partial credit back for those their consumers who paid for this product and must endure these troubleshooting frustrations now. Indeed, it would have ideal for Microsoft to be pro-active to notify its customers of this known software issue, along with the current work around. Apparently Microsoft only wants to be pro-active when it is time for billing.
