Office blank white screen

When I open the Office app, only a white blank screen is displayed. This occurs on my laptop, and suddenly started showing the white screen on my PC as well. I'm running Windows 11 on my laptop and Windows 10 on my PC. I tried repairing it, then resetting Office, but that did not help. All of the apps work as expected like Word and Excel, only the Office app is exhibiting this behavior.

    Hi,

I am experiencing this whilst trying to install the office applications. Are you aware of a way around this (an offline installer for example)?

    Many thanks,

    Dan

    Hey there,

I've managed to fix this issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the office app. This can be done in a couple of steps.

    1. Right-click the Start button Windows Start button in Windows 8 and Windows 10 (lower-left corner), and select Apps and Features on the pop-up menu.
    2. Select uninstall.
    3. Reinstall the Office app from the Microsoft Store.

Hope this works for you guys. I found it super annoying especially because I need Office365 for college.

Go to the Microsoft Store. Open my Library and then update the Office app. Then this ridiculous problem should be fixed.

Go to Settings, Apps, Installed Apps. Find Office in list, click on 3 dots at right end and choose Uninstall. Follow through to get the app uninstalled and restart. Then go to Microsoft Store and install Office again - I found this worked and the list of files was available again.
