Hi all.

When downloading a large number of files OneDrive, the system hangs and reboots on Mac OS.

It doesn't happen often. Only when a lot of small files are downloaded. Reinstalling OneDrive doesn't help.

Same problem on MBP 14 and Mac mini M1 that erasing the Mac mini M1's SSD and reinstalling MacOS 12.4 and OneDrive on June 1* didn't fix.

*Installed a new copy of Microsoft Business 365 Premium including OneDrive - now on v 22.099.0508.0001 (Standalone) (Apple Silicon).

Same Kernel Panics reappeared a few hours ago. As others have said, panics/reboots don't occur if OneDrive isn't running and when sync is paused.

We need a solution very soon from Microsoft.

    Same problem for me.

It took me a while to isolate the root cause of these never ending and frequent reboots to finally identify OneDrive as the single reason.

It is really annoying as it happens when on Teams or editing .DOC or .XLS or working in general. A powerful Mac Studio M1 Ultra and it can barely cope with the CPU overload requested by OneDrive processes. It is a shame. What can we do to solve it? Just do not use OneDrive even if we paid for it?
