Excel Stocks not working in Office 365 after installing macOS Ventura v13.0

**Parameters:**Hardware: Mac mini 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3
Software: Office 365 (v16.66.1)
OS: macOS Ventura (v13.0)
Connected Experiences: All On
Auto Update: Have always been On for both Office 365 and macOS

Additional: Nothing new has been installed on the system for over a year (other than SW updates)

TimeLine:

Two days ago: Microsoft Auto Update hung for hours

- Reinstalled MS Auto Update and was able to update MS apps  
- Excel Stocks working fine yesterday

This morning: Received error message: "COULDN'T REFRESH DATA TYPES We need to fix your account. Select Microsoft Excel from the top menu > Sign Out. Then sign back in with the account associated with a subscription."

Steps Taken:
Signed out of Office 365; signed back in. No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Hard Reboot: No change, and "Stocks" is missing.
Scoured the forums online...pretty much tried everything that I could find...

Removed Office 365 Apps, reinstalled, rebooted, etc., signed in again, verified Connected Experiences all are on, and "Stocks" shows up as a menu item: however, when clicking on it, the same error message appears ('COULDN'T REFRESH DATA...").
Removed Office 365 another two times, reinstalled, rebooted, verified Connected Experiences, etc. etc. and no change.
Nothing has changed with my Office 365 subscription (still active, valid, no additional users, etc.).

Thoughts/Questions:

Is this a problem with the latest version of Office 365 (v16.66.1)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to an earlier version that we know works (I have researched and not been able to find out how to do this.

Is this a problem with the latest version of macOS (Ventura v13.0)?

- If so, is there a way to roll back to a previous version of macOS?

If this isn't the right forum to solve this issue, can someone point me to where I can get assistance; I'm happy to pay a fee, as I'm over four hours of spinning my wheels with everything I've tried.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

    Thanks. I’ve tried that…it’s one of the things I attempt each time Stocks goes south. I think the missing function is due to signing in and out…not sure if it has trouble synching or just what, but it seems to reappear after a while; sometimes it takes a few hours. IDK

    I checked mine and everything seems normal. Operating Ventura 13.2.1 and Excel 16.71. I even went to a page that uses the "Stocks" and added another stock and it fired right up. I haven't used that Data Type Stocks input because upon reading it online once you declare it on data in a column and you add more symbols it, the program just automatically assumes it is the stock data type. Thus I did it when I built the sheet and never again.

    I was thinking about this and without biting my head off maybe try this. Open an archived/backed up sheet from your program. One that has stock data in a cell. Copy/Paste one of the cells into the spreadsheet giving you trouble and just type over with a new ticker. My thought is maybe the problem is with the menu/ribbon and not the actual Excel programming code. Thus when you paste it Excel might see that cell as having data type "Stocks".

    Yes, but it pre-populates on the ribbon upon sign-in to 365. After twenty times of signing off and on and rebooting, it showed up a few minutes ago...suspiciously right when I finished my chat with MS support. What I got, or rather didn't get answered were any of the following questions from MS (note, I'm posting just so others don't spin their wheels for a half hour with MS on the same questions):

    1. Why is the Stocks function missing from the menu bar? Response: No answer
    2. How do I get the Stocks function to appear again: Response: No answer
    3. Is there a workaround for missing stocks and stocks not updating? Response: We know about the issue and have reported it to the engineering team; as we know more we will tell you. There is no workaround at this time.
    4. Does rolling back to 16.69 work? Response: Don't know.

    I've been assigned a case number. For those who are fairly dependent upon the Stocks function, I'd suggest opening a chat and getting a case number assigned...they will then let you know via phone or email (your choice) when the issue is addressed or if they have a workaround figured out eventually. This was the process I went through last October, and roughly three months later they contacted me with a fix (at that time, the workaround was to roll back). In the mean time, I'll be trying to roll back this weekend and also turn off auto updates for MS and Apple again.

    As mentioned above, wish this hadn't happened This week!

    As I said above, I don’t have anything on my menus other than the default choices. The Stocks menu item has to be selected on the ribbon I believe.
