Can I turn off the OneDrive "For You" section thats just started to appear

Hi there, just recently my OneDrive now has a "For you" section to "access my memories" and is showing some random pictures.

Is there a way to disable/turn off this feature ?

    The steps you offered are no longer available in OneDrive. But I don't think your steps address the question, which was asking to be able to eliminate from OneDrive's "Photos" view online the "For You" section (because it includes privacy-busting histories of images in its "On this day"; "November moments"; and "Last week throughout the years" views).

    The need isn't just to stop notifications, it's to prevent the "For You" photo collections from displaying at the top of the screen.

    My pretty stupid request is that

    I don't want to see the "For You" or in German the "Für Sie" section ANYWHERE when i go to OneDrive.

    I expected a simple hint, how to manage that for my account.

    As of Nov 2022 this "Hide for Now" doesn't appear on certain browsers, such as Safari and Chrome, but more importantly, if it appears, selecting it does not work. Instead it returns a "thanks for your feedback" message that reveals this "Hide" option to be a poll, not a functional feature. The "For You" panel in the Photos view of OneDrive cannot be turned off.

    The "For you" section really is not a good idea. Probably copied idea from apple phone. But at least apple phone is hidden.

    uncheck "Storage of the day" option on the "Settings" tab is not working online view.

    Come on, please remove it or at least give user an easy way to turn it on or off.

    1. Go to your OneDrive main browser page.
    2. Click the Gear Icon in upper right, to access Settings.
    3. Click on Options
    4. Ignore the Manage Storage page, and on the left side menu, click on Photos.
    5. You can see there the option to Hide the For You section.
