Can I turn off the OneDrive "For You" section thats just started to appear

Hi there, just recently my OneDrive now has a "For you" section to "access my memories" and is showing some random pictures.

Is there a way to disable/turn off this feature ?

    There's no longer an option to turn off "For You" under Photos! MSFT - ****?

    Hello!
    I don't have installed the OneDrive app in my pc and i have the same problem! It's so annoying!
    Well i found an extremely temporary solution for those who use OneDrive from their browser.
    Options → Photos → For you session in my files → Hide for now

    Unfortunately after i refresh my page it comes back again and i thought that maybe i had to make the same changes in the settings in the app that i have installed in my phone. Well, there is no such an option in the mobile app but in notifications settings there is only the option to disable the "On this day" tab.
    So i did disabled those options in both OneDrive website and in my phone's app yet again the annoying "For you" it always comes back like a nightmare!!!!

    Please Microsoft give us the option to disable this; permanently.

    I dont think this fix would work with the OneDrive app or when logging into Onedrive with an internet browser

    Yes, I struggle to use One Drive now, as it keeps showing me photos of my dead family, a trauma that took years of therapy to get over, but now every time I login to work (I’m a paying Office 365 subscriber) I am greeted with very painful memories that deeply impact my mental health. This is an awful feature and is quite frankly abusive. I hate social media and I don’t use it, I didn’t expect Microsoft to turn a professional cloud service into a hurtful gimmick. My files are my files, my photos are my photos, I will look at them when I choose! Fix it please, or I will be leaving your service.

    Similar issue with my son.. I was met with an utterly tone deaf response from Microsoft support. I ended up having to just cull my online storage and move it elsewhere. I honestly don't know how they thought this was a good idea.
