Microsoft Access Memory Issue after December 6 2022 Build15831 Office Update

I've found that Access programs are running out of memory or getting system resources exceeded errors after the recent office update. If I open task manager and watch the memory resources the continue to go up and are never released like they normally do. This was not an issue until the update last week. Working in O365 32 bit access.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    Hi All,

    As reported by Karl, Microsoft have made a change to MS-Access and rolled it out to the current channel.

    No need to do any updates, just re-open MS-Access.

    Have tested and can report that MS-Access memory is now stable and we are no longer experiencing issues when running our quarterly reports.

    Thanks to everyone who helped on this - especially Karl who provided a database that Microsoft could use to debug the issue.

    For those following I sent over a sample to Karl last week and Microsoft has received it. Still waiting on a fix/patch.

    Will follow up when we hear anything.

    If the zip file is up to a few MB you can email it. Otherwise you should load it up somewhere and send me the link and instructions via email.

    Hi Karl, I believe I have put something together that duplicates the issue of a massive spike in memory usage which leads to the system resources or memory errors.

    I need to finish scrubbing the data before sending it over.

    Should I email you the zip file cotaining the front end and the scripted sql database?
