Is this legit?

If so, what should I look for and do?

    Hi Mary Han -

Not trying to be impertinent here, but how can you say with such certainty that this is a 'legitimate Microsoft Account notification' when so many others (including myself) have received identical emails, only citing 'Moscow, Russia,' and no one has found any unusual activity in their accounts, certainly none from Russia or India?

I have also been getting these emails over the past 2 months in my junk folder. Changed my password several times and added two-step verification for an extra layer of protection. I have been suspicious it was a fake and never attempted to respond, or click any links in the message. However when I checked sign in activity recently there was an attempted login that apparently failed from Russia.

These are the details of the attempt to log into my account.

I was sent a message about the unusual activity with a sign-in from Spain and one from Russia. This was not me. How do I secure the account so that activity is from me only?
