Microsoft account unusual sign-in activity email, -----> Is this phishing?

Even though I suspect phishing, is there a way to confirm a legitimate email was sent to me from Microsoft account team <no-reply@microsoft.com> about suspicious activity?

Don't forget that you can also go to your account security settings and look at all of your account logins to track any suspicious logins. If you get one of these emails, it's really easy to verify if someone managed to log into your account by checking this.
