How to disable OneDrive "On this day" "Memories" whatever MS calls it now

Works on web/PC version but not possible to switch off on android app

I can't find any options in the settings for OneDrive to get it to stop sending me reminders of the past "On this day" or "Memories". Is it even possible to turn this feature off?

Update: I found in the actual OneDrive website an option under settings called "On this day memories are available" that is already disabled. What I'm experiencing now is not emails, but popups in the bottom right corner of my screen, so no emails but now these popup notifications that seem to be coming from the operating system.

I've found the solution guys. To permantently remove the "For You" section from your OneDrive homepage. To remove the "On this day, On this Month, Memories" from appearing in the web version of One Drive.

Click on the settings icon in the top bar.

Click on One Drive settings in the side bar that appears.

Go to the "Photos" section of the Settings page.

You will see the section "For You". Click on "Hide This"

Voila, thats it. The memories/ on this day/ on this month content is gone! You are now free from distractions. Enjoy your flow and productivity guys!

This setting screen does not exist for me. My OneDrive account is for work but my phone is personal. There is no "personal" page in my OneDrive app settings, I cannot turn off these on this day notifications and it's driving me mad. I am going to have to remove notifications completely.

What's this got to do with the actual question?

Unbelievably you also have to disable it on each machine on which Onedrive is installed.

Microsoft, why do you add so much time consuming rubbish in your systems!!!! Spend hours disabling it all.
