How to disable OneDrive "On this day" "Memories" whatever MS calls it now

Read the original post, please, before replying. I did not write that I do not want to be alerted. that was turned off a long time ago. I wrote that I did not want the memories, period. OneDrive is a working solution for me, not a picture romp, and Microsoft is out of place making the determination regarding my preferences.
I Do not want to delete the photos from OneDrive. One reason I have OneDrive is to save disk space on my PC.
As for organization, my files are painstakingly organized.Do not blame the user for a poor Microsoft decision. As I have learned, the feature cannot be turned off, but it can be moved to the bottom of the page. That has been done. Please read requests attentively before responding. Thank you

What a useless feature. Thanks for reassuring me that I will never waste money on OneDrive or 365.

Yeah, in my experience it was/is a per client setting.

I've disabled it on my work phone, check. Enabled on my personal phone, check. Works as expected.

But the option is missing completely in the Windows (10) version of Onedrive.

"When OneDrive suggests a new collection of my photos and videos" is already switched of, doesn't help.

Just now I did an important presentation and jolly old me from 20 years ago just pops in... Yeah, it was funny and lightened the mood, but it's annoying and super unprofessional. There are some pictures in my onedrive I definitely wouldn't want to share in a work environment.

I can't find any options in the settings for OneDrive to get it to stop sending me reminders of the past "On this day" or "Memories". Is it even possible to turn this feature off?

Update: I found in the actual OneDrive website an option under settings called "On this day memories are available" that is already disabled. What I'm experiencing now is not emails, but popups in the bottom right corner of my screen, so no emails but now these popup notifications that seem to be coming from the operating system.

On the OneDrive page where you turned off "On this day..." is there a Save on the page that you should have clicked on?

Has the computer been restarted after that was turned off?
