OneDrive Save button and Folders grayed out on iPhone but other clouds are not

Onedrive folders and Save button are grayed out on my iphone when I have tried to "Save to Files" through the Files App. The folders for some reason are showing as read only in the App as well which is quite weird.

However other cloud services such as google drive, dropbox save to iphone and the Save button are not grayed out and completely available to save too.

This was working previously but all of a sudden has stopped for no reason. I am site administrator on this account having full permissions from a microsoft end and have checked the settings in the iphone to allow access to all photos. I have not changed any settings either or read only.

    Thank you for that info, I really wasn’t sure which update had killed the functionality. I really hope this helps and that I can get it to someone in Apple who can get this resolved after a spent time beating my head against a brick wall with a first line support person who has to go through their cheat sheet of questions, then had the line ‘dropout’ when I was being passed to a senior advisor and have received no call since.

    I will follow up today and, if luck is on my side, get to talk to someone who understands what I’m actually saying to them and can feedback to the right people to get this issue resolved in the next iOS release.

    CreaghW - Thank you for working on getting this resolved!  I continue to be tortured daily on my iPhone (iPhone SE 2nd Gen = iPhone 9) and my iPad Pro.  The issue started with the release of iOS 14.4.1 which released on 8 March 2021.  I did not have problems until after that.   I was hoping that the recent release of iOS14.4.2 would fix the problem; however it did not.  I hope this information gives Apple some direction in attempt to fix this problem.  Thanks again for your assistance!

    I, personally, have logged a call with Apple support and am working my way up through the ‘chain’ of support until I get to someone that understands what I’m telling them - that it is a global iOS issue that effects every single iOS device in the world (and anyone using OneDrive). I’m not exactly sure which iOS version introduced the issue, so if anyone can help me pinpoint that it could help me to get Apple to resolve this ASAP.

    Quite true. For example, you can’t long hold on an attachment in an email because the only relevant option you get is Save to Files. You have to open the attachment so that you get the actual share button available. 

    It’s simply not integrated into iOS properly and I can see both MS and Apple pointing the finger at each other here but I suspect that it’s actually an Apple issue not supporting OneDrive correctly as the specific share to OneDrive process, as indicated above, which is implemented on iOS when one installs OneDrive, works.
