OneDrive sign in error code: 0x8004de69

Hi,

I get this error: 

There was a problem signing you in

Please try again in a few minutes. (Error Code: 0x8004de69)

I waited one week. Then, I reinstalled Windows 10. The same error code. I didn't find the error code on Google. What does it mean?

    Came here to say exactly this. Was having the same issue with a new user setup, and logged into OneDrive online and then was able to pop the desktop client open perfectly fine.

    The error seems to occur when there are multiple installations of MS office.

    ex)

    MS 365 Apps for business

    MS 365 Apps for Home and Business

    If I uninstall one of the duplicate products, the error disappears.

    Here is the resolution. Change local windows user password and wait a few mins and try logging into OneDrive again.

    I was able to sign in by going to onedrive.com, signing in, and then choosing to sync a directory. Then it signed in with no issues and started syncing. Weird I couldn't start file sync directly from the desktop app but at least it let me do it once I authenticated to onedrive.com.
