Hi,

I get this error:

There was a problem signing you in

Please try again in a few minutes. (Error Code: 0x8004de69)

I waited one week. Then, I reinstalled Windows 10. The same error code. I didn't find the error code on Google. What does it mean?

Thanks!

Make sure to close One drive then do the following steps: C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.AAD.BrokerPlugin_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\TokenBroker\Accounts [Delete all files] HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ [Delete identity folder]C:\Users%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OneDrive\settings  - [Delete all files]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OneDrive\Accounts  - [Delete Business1 folder] AFTER COMPLETING THESE STEPS RESTART YOUR COMPUTER

This should solve the issue and allow you to sign in now.

I also have this problem on my school computer on which I need OneDrive, and I found that by removing the @(School District).org from my email seemed to cause a different error. It asked if it was a work/school account and I said yes, and then it took me to the same 0x8004de69 again. I thought I had found the solution. :(

Ensure you have set a device password and pin.

Setup Windows Hello and then sign in with that security and sign into OneDrive.

In other words, ensure that the device security policy matches the Microsoft 365 Business security policy before setting up OneDrive.

I found the solution and it works.

    1. Just unlink the PC, then you should uninstall OneDrive, and restart your PC.
    2. Install OneDrive from the website.
    3. Restart your PC again.
    4. Sign in OneDrive from windows start.

    Done.

I wish it worked for your PC :)

    This fix is:

Log into your OneDrive Live: https://onedrive.live.com/about/en-us/signin/

At the top, click on the Sync button:

It will prompt to open your OneDrive App. Select Allow

    Sign in to the App

    Done
