Hi,

I get this error:

There was a problem signing you in

Please try again in a few minutes. (Error Code: 0x8004de69)

I waited one week. Then, I reinstalled Windows 10. The same error code. I didn't find the error code on Google. What does it mean?

Thanks!

The Solution that worked for me:

    Stop OneDrive.

Go to Control Panel -> Credential Manager -> Windows Credentials and delete all Generic Credentials containing OneDrive (should be 2 or 3 entries).

Then delete virtualapp/didlogiacal too (if exists). Afterwars start OneDrive, type in credentials and there you go

    Hi thread,

The same error code happens after I changed my OFFICE365 password as per my company policy.

Restart, reinstall nor relink resolves the issue.

The solution for my situation is to go to the web version of onedrive, log in and invoke the desktop version. After some redirections it works.

But I think OneDrive will re sync after this.

    Hope this will help.

    Best Regards

    Yukai Bi

I found the solution and it works.

    1. Just unlink the PC, then you should uninstall OneDrive, and restart your PC.
    2. Install OneDrive from the website.
    3. Restart your PC again.
    4. Sign in OneDrive from windows start.

    Done.

I wish it worked for your PC :)

I somehow fixed it , but i don't exactly know what did it.

I went to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/, clicked sign out everywhere and then changed my password.

I also reinstalled Onedrive before and restarted after doing the above mentioned steps.

Then i could sign in again.

The thing that worked for me with this issue was to remove all traces of saved credentials for OneDrive in credential manager just to be safe. Then go into windows 10 settings >account. Switch login from a Microsoft account to a local account. Then sign in with the new local account password, go back into windows 10 settings > accounts and re-add the microsoft account to use it to sign into your computer. Then I was able to add my user's work account back to OneDrive without this error showing up.
