Hi,

I get this error:

There was a problem signing you in

Please try again in a few minutes. (Error Code: 0x8004de69)

I waited one week. Then, I reinstalled Windows 10. The same error code. I didn't find the error code on Google. What does it mean?

Thanks!

What worked for me after trying all the potential solutions in this thread was...

    1. Close OneDrive completely.
    2. Login to O365 and navigate to OneDrive.
    3. Click the "Get the OneDrive apps" at the bottom left.
    4. On the newly opened webpage, click "Start OneDrive".
    5. The OneDrive client reopened and made it past login.

    Good luck with your troubleshooting.

We had this problem and fixed it by:

    1. Uninstall OneDrive
    2. Rename the folders: "&localappdata%\OneDrive" and "&localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive"
    3. Delete the following items from Credential Manager: "virtualapp/didlogical" and "SSO_POP_Device"
    4. Reboot

5 Reinstall OneDrive from here: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=248256

    Andrew

I was able to sign in by going to onedrive.com, signing in, and then choosing to sync a directory. Then it signed in with no issues and started syncing. Weird I couldn't start file sync directly from the desktop app but at least it let me do it once I authenticated to onedrive.com.
