Pronouns in Microsoft Profile

This is frankly embarrassing that Microsoft doesn't currently support or plan to support pronouns on Microsoft Teams. Zoom just added pronouns as a built-in feature on their platform in June 2021, while despite this being "Under Review" since Nov 2020, there is currently NO pronoun feature included in the Microsoft Teams roadmap for future updates. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Microsoft%20Teams

Microsoft, get your act together. This is a very important feature for many users, and the fact that you're ignoring this request and do not have the feature under development is incredibly upsetting.

Hello, great to hear Microsoft is reviewing this feature. I am sure inclusion is high on your priorities as such a high profile organisation, so I'm hoping we have a more concrete timeframe on when pronouns functionality will be available. Thank you

Yes! Most platforms allow the user to either change their display name or set their pronouns to display with their name. This information could be added to the card that pops up when you hover over or click on their photo. There are already fields that allow other information, such as their title and/or department and contact information. Seems like a simple add that would go a long way to ensure accurate and respectful communication.
