Apple mail keeps asking for outlook email password

Hi,

I’ve got two outlook email accounts on my iphone and  both are constantly requiring me to re-enter my password. Its only started happening over the last 3 days and becoming increasingly annoying. I know other people that are having the same issues, so I’m not sure if its something to do with the latest IOS update. I would be grateful if anyone has any information on how to ressolve this.

    I have both the microsoft outlook app and the defult maill app on my iphone.

    • I’ve noticed that while the default mail app will stop synchhronising and prompt for a password th ouutlook app will continue to work annd synchronnise without loosing the password.

    Being prompted for password every day on multiple accounts, I am thinking of just switching to gmail or icloud mail and forward my MS mails to them. Its been weeks already and it seems they arent interested in solving this issue... And no, outlook for ios is not a solution, I want to have all my mail in the default app as it should be.

    Thanks but as hotmail (now called outlook) is not exchange I do not understand.  This constant dropping is a nuisance.

    I also have this issue on both iphone and Ipad. Since ios 14.2 i think. Had any solution been offered by Microsoft. Its really irritating.

    Not seen anything yet and i check everyday.Seen some tricky work arounds that didnt work for me so ive started changing email addresses on all the sites and accounts  i use to my icloud acount and deleting my outlook accounts.
