Hi,

I’ve got two outlook email accounts on my iphone and  both are constantly requiring me to re-enter my password. Its only started happening over the last 3 days and becoming increasingly annoying. I know other people that are having the same issues, so I’m not sure if its something to do with the latest IOS update. I would be grateful if anyone has any information on how to ressolve this.

thank you

I had this problem, but after I deleted the Outlook account and reinstalled it under Exchange on both the iPhone and iPad, everything has been working fine for about 2 weeks now. So fingers crossed this is the solution.

Getting pretty tired with the constant password requests and microsoft’s lack of interest in fixing this. I’m thinking about just leaving hotmail completely and going to another email provider.

Are there any recommendations that isn’t Google’s Gmail? How easy is it to migrate? Can we put a forward on hotmail to the new provider and just ditch Microsoft all together and still get emails?

I reported this issue with my ipad a few weeks ago. I tried all the usual solutions suggested, but the problem remained. It appears to have gone away for now, but clearly not because of anything I have done!

I have never had the problem occur on my iphone, so I thought it may be something to do with the new iPadOS, since I never had the problem untiI I updated to the new iPadOS operating system. However, from the many comments posted by other users, it seems to happen on iPhones, on iPads using IOS, and with iPads using iPadOS.

There must surely be a rational explanation for this (trust certificates or whatever!) and I cannot understand why Micosoft & Apple can’t get their collective heads together & sort this issue!

Exchange hasn’t worked for me. Less than 24 hours later it’s asking for my password again.
