Can’t login to Facebook because Authenticator app didn’t backup and save credentials

I got a new phone and cant login to Facebook now. The authenticator app didnt backup and save my Facebook credentials and now I cant get the 2 factor authentication code required. How can I recover this info?

    All these facebook options DO NOT WORK. I get to the point where I confirm my identity and it will not send me any recovery codes to get back in. I receive every other email from facebook except this one. I have tried to contact facebook but there is NO HELP if you really can't log in. How can one get their facebook authenticator app restored so that it can generate my codes required to log into facebook? There has to be a way you can restore the facebook into our authenticator if it failed to back up properly??? HELP !

    You can try texting the word "On" to 32665, then text the letters "otp" to generate a code. This will only work if your phone number is associated with your account and even then you may have the same issue as me, which is I can't access the authenticator app because the Facebook app itself is asking for it so I cannot log in. I have made videos of screen captures and I'm sharing those daily with any and everyone. I asked my friends who are on Facebook to report a problem for me and share the videos. I did finally receive a notice from security. I am not able to log in yet, but there is some response from Facebook, so that's a small victory!

    I was able to set up a new email once support contacted me. They asked me for a new email. I then had to upload my DL, Still trying to complete the verification but now I have to wait 24 hours cause I answered one of the questions wrong :/

    How long did that take before support contacted you? Because I have been submitting my email/DL verification for weeks and no one is reaching out.

    Thank you @AliciaGnola! Sounds like we are somewhat in the same boat. I dont think my phone number was associated which is probably why I am not getting a code. It should be as easy as them sending me an email associated to my FB account because if you can access your email that should be good enough to get you back in. I have tried to use my parents account to report issues as well, but again nothing.
