Yes!! That would have been great. After 5 months, I am finally back into my FB account. Literally sent over 50 requests and finally after the 3rd copy of my passport was sent I received a link that unlocked my account and I was able to turn off the two factor authentication.

Facebook needs an option where users can request the user's QR setup authentication code sent to the user's primary email address.

With the QR code, it can be scanned on any authenication app and the 6 digit code would be displayed on the app.  If this option was available on Facebook, this problem maybe solved much quickly.

From this day, I told my self to never use any Microsoft Product again , some folks warned me to always use apple products and I never listened. so now I lost access to my Facebook Account, Lost all my important data in it, Thanks to MS Authenticator App. Lesson learned.

No I have not been able to reach anyone competent at Facebook. I continue to receive the same email stating they cant help me because for whatever reason my TX drivers license is not an acceptable form of ID. Incredibly frustrating!!!
