Can’t login to Facebook because Authenticator app didn’t backup and save credentials

I got a new phone and cant login to Facebook now. The authenticator app didnt backup and save my Facebook credentials and now I cant get the 2 factor authentication code required. How can I recover this info?

    Can you share the email address you been in contact with 😊 I used to have a support email address but now it’s now where to be found

    They said to me they can’t switch it off or change it for me because the account owner should do it

    I have been contacting them daily for the last week, and just heard back today and they requested my ID. This is the first time I've been able to upload my ID.

    Thank you @AliciaGnola! Sounds like we are somewhat in the same boat. I dont think my phone number was associated which is probably why I am not getting a code. It should be as easy as them sending me an email associated to my FB account because if you can access your email that should be good enough to get you back in. I have tried to use my parents account to report issues as well, but again nothing.

    How long did that take before support contacted you? Because I have been submitting my email/DL verification for weeks and no one is reaching out.
